The Student Martial Arts Invitation Championship is a national level sports competition that is often held in Indonesia. Some of the sports being contested this year, one of which is the Shorinji kempo martial arts. On behalf of the University of the Riau Islands, Amelia Pasha Bethesda Samosir managed to get 2 medals at once. In the Women’s Randori category, the 55 kg class won 1st place and the Women’s Embu Tandoku Yudansha category won 2nd place.
The University of the Riau Islands also felt proud. The victory that Amelia Pasha Bethesda Samosir achieved certainly could not have been achieved overnight, of course by always preparing herself with continuous practice and warming up before the match took place was one of the secrets of this victory. It is hoped that this achievement will be a motivation for all students and female students at UNRIKA.
