The Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI) holds talent events every year in various fields. Within the framework of the National Talent Management (MTN) program, the Indonesian Talent Development Center carries out continuous development to produce superior talents in the fields of Research and Innovation; Arts and Culture; as well as Sports. One of the programs to develop students’ talents and interests in the arts is the National Student Arts Week (Peksiminas).
Peksiminas is a competition and talent showcase for students in Indonesia. The theme of Peksiminas 2024 is “Freedom to Achieve Inspiring Artistic Talents”. Riau Islands University also took part in this National Student Arts Week (Peksiminas). The release took place on August 30 2024 at the UNRICA Rectorate building.
Peksiminas is a competition in the arts for Indonesian students organized by the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture by appointing one of the BPSMI administrators as the event organizing committee. Peksiminas 2024 will be held on Monday, 2 September 2024 to Saturday, 7 September 2024 at the State University of Jakarta (UNJ). The UNRICA contingent itself sent 6 representatives to participate in Peksiminas 2024.
