The latest from UNRIKA, the closing event for the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) at the University of the Riau Islands. The activity was carried out successfully and lively by the entire Unrika Community, said the Chancellor of the University of Riau Islands, Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Langgeng Ratnasari, S.E., M.M., Deputy Chancellor I Mr. Dr. Dahrul Aman Harahap, S.Pt., M.M., M.Pd., Deputy Chancellor II Mrs. Dr. Catur Fatchu Ukhriyawati, S.E., M.M., Dean and Deputy Dean of each faculty, Head of Study Program and Secretary of each Department as well as Lecturers at the University of Riau Islands. Apart from the ranks of the UNRICA Community, the event was also attended by the Governor of the Riau Islands, Mr Ansar Ahmad, S.E., MM.
The event was held at the Audiotorium of the University of Riau Islands on Saturday, October 5 2024. The event began with remarks from the Chair of the Committee. Followed by welcoming remarks by the Governor of the Riau Islands. Apart from the closing of the PKKMB, the Arts Performance and Inauguration were also held at the same time. Starting with a Yel-Yel Competition which was participated by all new students from each faculty. After the Yel-Yel Competition, the event continued with an Art Performance for each Faculty. The event closed with the handing over and symbolic use of the address and a performance from the invited band that evening.
