For the first time in the history of the University of Riau Islands, the selection of CIK & PUAN UNRIKA 2024 was held. One of the competitions that enlivened the fourth day of the series of UNRIKA’s 31st Diesnatalis events was held in the afternoon until the evening. The selection of CIK & PUAN UNRIKA was attended by students from various study programs and faculties at UNRIKA. After being filtered, 14 finalists were selected consisting of 8 CIK and 6 Puan.
The selection began with a dance performance in stunning Malay clothes from all CIK & PUAN UNRIKA finalists, followed by an introduction of each finalist. After the Maghrib break, all finalists performed a Fashion Show in modern clothes that had been prepared to the maximum. A question and answer segment between one finalist and the judges was held after the fashion show was held. It was closed with a talent performance by each CIK & PUAN UNRIKA Finalist. In between the CIK & PUAN UNRIKA performances, a Modern Dance competition was also held which could be participated by all students in the city of Batam.
