The BAZNAS Scholarship is one of the flagship programs of the BAZNAS Riau Islands Province which is included in the Kepri Smart program from 2017 until now. This scholarship is given to underprivileged students in the Riau Islands region.
Most recently, BAZNAS Riau Islands has provided an Inspirational Scholarship to the University of the Riau Islands (UNRIKA) through the Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ) of the University of the Riau Islands. “Together Creating Better Education Through Zakat”. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Batam Higher Education Foundation, Mr. Edwin Agung Wibowo, S.E., M.Comm., Deputy Chancellor I, Mr. Dr. Dahrul Aman Harahap, S.Pt., M.M., M.Pd., Deputy Chancellor II Mrs. Dr. Catur Fatchu Ukhriyawati, S.E., M.M., UPZ UNRIKA management lecturers and students who received this scholarship. The direct handover was carried out by representatives of BAZNAS Riau Islands with the Chair of the Batam Higher Education Foundation in the AIPT Room at the University of Riau Islands.
