Higher education in Indonesia is faced with various important power relations as a response to global developments and increasingly complex social demands. Responding to these challenges, the concept of “Free Learning Campus” was introduced to give students more freedom in designing the educational curriculum and developing skills according to their interests. The key step in optimizing this concept is collaboration between universities.
Most recently, UNRIKA collaborated with the Indonesian Accounting Lecturers Association (ADAI). The purpose of this visit is to establish cooperation in implementing the “Free Learning Independent Campus” activity. This program allows students from one university to study and learn at other partner universities. The Independent Campus Study Program (MBKM) not only gives students freedom, but also the opportunity to gain a more diverse learning experience.
