Regional Higher Education Service Institutions (LL DIKTI) The work meeting held at the Prince Pekanbaru Hotel was opened by the Governor of Riau on Monday evening (2 September), bringing together all private universities in Riau Province and the Riau Islands with the topic “Building Synergy between private universities in the region LLDIKTI XVII”.
In his introduction, the Director of LLDIKTI XVII DR Nopriadi, SKM, M.Kes emphasized that current conditions require strong coordination between private universities (PTS) in the LLDIKTI area. Indeed, global dynamics that continue to change in the fields of education, technology and economics require private universities to adapt and innovate.
The Governor of Riau, represented by the Acting Head of the Education Service, Roni Rakhmat, when opening the LLDIKTI XVII Working Meeting, said that the Riau Provincial Government really supports the existence of LL DIKTI Region and Riau Islands can be done even faster.
PTS has a strategic role in the implementation of higher education in Indonesia. Specifically in LLDIKTI Region XVII Riau Kepri, PTS plays a role as the main driving force in producing superior and highly competitive resources. The opening of the LL DIKTI XVII Riau Kepri Working Meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the Batam Higher Education Foundation, Mr. Edwin Agung Wibowo S.E., M.Comm., Chancellor of the University of Riau Islands, Mrs. Prof. Dr. Hj. Sri Langgeng Ratnasari, S.E., M.M., and Deputy Chancellor II Mrs. Dr. Chess Fatchu Ukhriyawati, S.E., M.M.
