On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, a very important training in the world of education was held at the University of Riau Islands. This activity aims to improve the ability of lecturers to design effective Semester Learning Plans (RPS) and develop quality learning assessment instruments.
The event, which lasted for a full day, was attended by more than fifty lecturers from various faculties. One of the main highlights was the presence of Prof. Dr. Eng. Widya Wijayanti, ST., MT, who provided this training.
In her presentation, Prof. Widya emphasized the importance of a well-integrated RPS with the CPL of each study program. She also shared in-depth insights into the use of various types of assessment instruments that are in accordance with the characteristics of the course and the learning objectives to be achieved.
The training participants responded positively by saying that the material presented was very relevant and could be directly implemented in their teaching practices. They also had the opportunity to discuss directly with Prof. Widya and exchange experiences regarding the challenges and solutions in designing an effective RPS.
This training event is expected to have a significant impact on improving the quality of learning at the University of Riau Islands, as well as strengthening the competence of lecturers in compiling RPS that meet high education quality standards.
