Governor of Riau Islands Ansar Ahmad attended the inauguration of the operational organization of BEM, SENAT and PENSI at the campus of the University of Riau Islands (UNRIKA) Batam.
At the inauguration event, Governor Ansar not only delivered a welcoming speech, but also conducted a public lecture seminar for UNRIKA students on how human resources have a significant impact on the development of a country in the future.
Governor Ansar quoted Nelson Mandela “Education is a very deadly weapon in the world, because with education you can change the world” in line with one of the Missions of the Riau Islands Provincial Government, namely Realizing the quality of quality human resources, healthy and competitive and based on Imam and Taqwa to God Almighty “.
The Governor expressed his hope to UNRIKA students to remain confident in being able to compete to achieve achievements and become champions for their country. Governor Ansar also expressed his hope that UNRIKA students would be able to confidently compete with other talents in the future.
In addition, Governor Ansar also provided support to UNRIKA worth IDR 300 million from the Riau Islands Provincial Government and provided a personal donation of IDR 15 million to BEM and the UNRIKA Senate.
