Universitas Riau Kepulauan together with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Government carried out a socialization of new student admissions in 2024 in Belakang Padang District which was attended by the Dean of Fisipol, Deputy Dean of Fisipol, Head of Government Science Study Program, Secretary of Government Science Study Program.
On this occasion, UNRIKA also carried out the socialization of RPL which was organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Government. RPL itself aims to facilitate students in obtaining partial recognition of semester credit units/based on past learning and/or experience. Past learning and/or experience that can be recognized can come from non-formal, informal education, work, achievements, certification, and/or from work experience.
Early socialization is needed in order to prepare in order to provide academic comfort for outsiders to continue their studies. Furthermore, it was revealed that the acceptance of new UNRIKA students must be a new breath in helping prospective students who want to continue their studies, and hope that prospective students can enjoy the process or at least feel the atmosphere of lectures.
